Chicken wire
Chicken wire is ideal for protecting allotments from burrowing rabbits and foxes. It is ideal for chicken runs and the galvanised wire mesh can also provide an extra security against fox attacks.

Stock fence
Stock fence is similar to barbed wire, but made with a single strand and has no barbs. Its primary advantage is that it is less likely to cause lacerations and cuts if an animal becomes entangled in it or rubs against it. Available from stock at our Erith branch.
